Image of the Year Competitions

We were pleased to welcome Stewart Dodd LRPS to deliver his judgements on the entries for this year's three image of the year competitions. He gave us constructive criticism and advice and announced the top three places for the Colour Print of the Year, Mono Print of the Year and Digital Image of the Year.


Colour Print of the Year was a digital competition this year and the winning image was 'Blackbirds Feeding' by Jock Elliott.

The Colour Print of the Year second equal was 'Cuckoo' by Lynn Stout.

Second equal in the Colour Print of the Year was 'A Study of Nature' by Jennifer Moffat.

Third place in the Colour Print of the Year was 'Begonia' by Beryl Woodger.


The Mono Print of the Year was also a digital competition this year and the winner was 'Balgavie Loch' by Ian Bain.

Mono Print of the Year runner-up was 'Getting Back to Afflochie' by Iain McLachlan.

In third place was 'Freezing Fog' by Lynn Stout.


Digital Image of the Year was won by Beryl Woodger with 'Erythronium'.

Digital Image of the Year runner-up was Lynn Stout with 'Cuckoo Landing'.

In third equal place was 'Large Red Damselfly' by Jock Elliott.

Third equal was 'A Highland Evening' by Jennifer Moffat.
