Mini Panel Results

Thank you o everyone who came along last night to listen to Steve Whittaker's excellent feedback on our mini panels. I don't think anyone could argue with his decision to choose Sally Mack's 'Simple Straight Lines' as his top panel for 2018!

Congratulations to Sally, and also to Ian Hastie and Ian Bain who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Steve's feedback was as entertaining and informative as ever, and I think the overarching theme was his enjoyment of photographs 'about things' rather than photographs 'of things'. It's an interesting way to think about photography, and keeping it in mind when out taking pictures is a really valuable thing to do.

Steve has agreed in principle to coming back next season to give feedback on our Main Project - so I'm sure that will be another night to look forward to, and perhaps focus our minds on how to tackle the challenge.
